Who We Are & What We Do

Binda Foundation - early childhood development

Our Mission

As an education foundation, the Guido A. and Elizabeth H. Binda Foundation aims to improve the quality of life and promote equitable outcomes for individuals through strategic and impactful grantmaking in Calhoun County.
The Binda Foundation provides philanthropic support to nonprofit organizations headquartered in Calhoun County, Michigan, that serve Calhoun County residents and to those which, if headquartered elsewhere, have programming commitments that serve Calhoun County residents.
With assets in excess of $20 million, the Foundation makes grants totaling approximately $1 million per year, benefiting the residents of Calhoun County.  Our three strategic areas for grantmaking are Education, Health & Human Services, and Arts and Culture.
